Ordered a wet asada burrito in red sauce and a large Watermelon Fresca. HUGE burrito but I wish I was informed about how spicy it was. Service was amazing. I personally was brought some sour cream upon request (to cool down) and the woman serving followed up, asking if we needed anything.
I'd return in hopes to try something else that could bump this to a 5 -

A friend's IG postings turned me on to this neighborhood treasure -- it was a Chile Relleno -- and I had to give it a try. Rolled up on a Saturday afternoon, head full of international jet lag and stomach on empty.
I got the aforementioned Relleno with rice and beans, a taco dorado with beef and potato, and a Mexican coke. Delicious!
Apparently they have a special red sauce and apparently I tried it. Very complex and spicy.
The service was great and while the interior is pretty bare bones, it does the trick. Recommended. -

I've been wanting to stop by this place for many years and finally we came by this place on a Sunday morning. We ordered the Chilaquiles and we requested the spiciest chili they had on hand plus a side of pancakes. The food was very flavorful and the chili was burning my mouth. The pancakes brought back memories of how my mom used to make them back in my youth, so delicious.

This is my second yelp review ever, which I hope will convince you to visit this food haven. I've been eating the breakfast burritos for years now, and they are the best in LA. Also, their carnitas burrito will astound you. Mind bogglingly good beans too. While you're visiting this gem of Rose Hill, come back for X`Keken, the Yucatecan food stand that pops up in the outdoor area in the evening on weekends.
